MARKETING STRATEGIST & BUSINESS CONSULTANT

MO HAMZA

Marketing Strategist Helping Businesses Build Smarter Growth Systems

I'm Mo Hamza, a Marketing Strategist and Business Consultant based in Lebanon, working across the MENA region.

I help business owners and founders turn disconnected marketing activities into clear strategies, systems, funnels and measurable growth - across positioning, content, paid advertising, AI, ecommerce and performance marketing.

My work is built around one principle: marketing should not depend on random campaigns or short-term tactics. It should operate as a system that connects strategy, execution, data and growth.

A WAY OF THINKING

Before You Follow the Crowd

A philosophy that shapes how I approach business, strategy and every marketing decision.

Imagine you are walking on a road with hundreds of people.

Everyone is moving in the same direction.

Nobody is asking where the road leads. Nobody is asking why they are walking there. They are simply following the person in front of them.

You have two choices.

You can keep walking with them because it feels safe. You can think like them, speak like them, build like them and eventually become another copy of what already exists.

Or you can stop.

Look around.

And ask yourself:

Why am I going this way?

That question has always fascinated me.

Prophet Ibrahim grew up surrounded by people who accepted the beliefs of their society. But he did not simply accept what everyone around him accepted. He questioned. He observed. He reflected. He used his mind and searched for truth, even when that meant standing apart from the crowd.

Centuries later, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ would leave the noise of society and spend time in the Cave of Hira in worship and reflection.

There is a lesson in both stories that has always stayed with me:

Before you act, think.

The world constantly tells us to move faster.

Work harder.
Post more.
Advertise more.
Copy what is working for someone else.
Follow the trend.

But sometimes the smartest thing you can do is stop and ask:

Does this actually make sense for me?

I carry that same philosophy into business and marketing.

Before I build a strategy, launch a campaign or spend one dollar on advertising, I want to understand the destination first.

Because hard work is powerful.

But hard work without thought can simply take you faster in the wrong direction.

Use your mind first. Then do the work.

THE OPERATING PRINCIPLES

How I Think About Marketing

Marketing becomes much simpler when you stop treating every audience, every channel and every business the same way.

01

Your Audience Changes the Language

One of the biggest mistakes I see is businesses speaking to everyone in exactly the same way.

You cannot speak to Gen Z the same way you speak to Millennials, business owners, parents or executives.

The product might be the same.
The message should not be.

Different audiences have different motivations, problems, references, behaviors and ways of making decisions.

Good marketing starts when you understand who is on the other side of the message.

02

Strategy Is the Road to the Destination

For me, strategy is simple.

First, tell me where you want to go.

Then we decide how to get there.

If the destination is the same, you might take a plane, drive a car, take a different route or even walk.

Every option can eventually take you there, but the time, cost, risk and resources are completely different.

Marketing works the same way. There is no single strategy that works for every business.

The right strategy depends on where you are today, where you want to go, how quickly you want to get there and what resources you have available.

03

Marketing Should Work as a System

I don't look at content, advertising, email, funnels and analytics as separate activities.

They should work together.

Your positioning affects your message. Your message affects your content. Your content creates attention. Your funnel turns that attention into action. Your advertising accelerates the system. And your data tells you what needs to change.

When these pieces are disconnected, marketing becomes random.

When they work together, marketing becomes a growth system.

04

Advertising Doesn't Fix a Weak Strategy

Running more ads is not always the answer.

If the positioning is wrong, the audience is wrong, the offer is weak or the funnel is broken, increasing the advertising budget simply sends more people into a system that doesn't work.

Before asking: How much should we spend?

I prefer asking: What exactly are we trying to make happen?

The objective should determine the campaign - not the other way around.

05

Data Should Help You Make Decisions

I don't believe in collecting numbers just because a dashboard can show them.

Views, clicks, CPMs, CTRs and conversion rates only matter when they help answer a business question.

What is working?
What is not working?
Why?
What should we change next?

Data is valuable when it leads to a decision.

06

AI Is a Tool, Not the Strategy

AI has changed how quickly we can research, analyze, create and execute marketing.

But AI does not replace strategic thinking.

ChatGPT, Claude and other AI tools can make a strong marketer faster.

They cannot fix a business that doesn't understand its market, audience, positioning or objective.

I use AI as part of the marketing system - not as a substitute for understanding the business.

07

The Goal Is Not More Marketing

The goal is not to post more.

It is not to launch more campaigns.

It is not to use every platform.

The goal is to identify the few things that can actually move the business forward - and build a system around them.

Strategy first. Execution second. Optimization always.
